Update, November 2: Nothing has started rolling out the stable version of Nothing OS 5.0, based on Android 17, to the Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro, Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. The rollout is staggered, so not every phone gets it on the same day. Nothing had earlier rolled the update out to the Phone (3).
Android 17 Rollouts: What Each Phone Maker Has Published So Far
Android 17 is already available on Google Pixel phones, but other brands are rolling it out on their own schedules. Some publish full calendars and others have not. This guide sets out where each brand stands, based on the rollout guide we reviewed on October 31, 2026.
Google Pixel
Google released Android 17 on June 16, 2026. The rollout guide lists the eligible lineup as Pixel 6 through Pixel 10 models, including the a series phones, the Pixel Tablet and the Pixel Fold.
Samsung
Samsung has not published a complete rollout calendar for One UI 9, its Android 17 based interface. Reports say the One UI 9 rollout began in the United States in late September with Galaxy S26 phones, and has widened in stages since.
Xiaomi
Xiaomi has published an Android 17 timetable for China, but no matching schedule for global markets.
OnePlus and Oppo
Both brands deliver Android 17 through ColorOS 17. OnePlus says Android 17 arrives with ColorOS 17 and describes a change in its software direction for this release.
Motorola
Motorola has not published an Android 17 schedule, even though some devices have received updates.
How to check your phone
Rollouts arrive in batches and vary by region and carrier. A published date does not mean every eligible device receives the update that day, so check your phone's software update screen.
