Foldables are having a busy season. Apple's iPhone Duo has just gone on sale, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is already on the market, and the vivo X Fold6 is competing for the same buyers. The three phones take different routes, so this comparison looks at what each one offers on paper.

Where each one leads
The Duo leads on storage, going up to 2 TB, and it is the only one of the three on Apple's software. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and the X Fold6 both have 200 MP main cameras, which gives them the stronger camera spec on paper. The X Fold6 has the largest battery in our listings, while the Z Fold8 Ultra sits between the two.
Price is the one comparison we have left out. Apple's price is confirmed, but we do not have verified launch prices for the Samsung and vivo models in the same market, so we would rather not guess.
Which one to consider
If you already use Apple's devices and want the largest storage option, the Duo is the obvious pick. If you want the best camera spec on paper, either the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra or the X Fold6 is the better choice. For battery life, the X Fold6 has the most capacity in our data, although a foldable's real endurance also depends on its display and chip.
We will update this comparison as soon as the Samsung and vivo prices in each market are confirmed.
