Update, November 2: Data from an investment bank's tracker, as of October 30, puts the average iPhone Duo wait at 89 days, about a week shorter than before. The same data puts iPhone 18 Pro waits at about five days and Pro Max waits at about 18 days. The delivery estimates in this article were written before that data. iPhone Duo Delivery Dates Range From Mid November to Late January, Reports Say
Delivery estimates for new online orders of the iPhone Duo have moved several times since preorders opened on October 16, and the reports do not agree. The estimates have ranged from mid November to late January 2027. This piece sets out what has been reported and what to check on your own order.
What was reported first
Within a day of preorders opening, the estimated delivery for every color and storage size reportedly moved to November 16, and then to November 23. Later reports showed late January 2027 for new orders, and one report gave January 25, 2027 for every configuration.
What reports show now
Reports from October 22 to 24 still show late January 2027 for new online orders in the United States. A few existing orders have moved earlier, with some shifting to November 16 to 23 and one 512 GB order to November 20 to 30. Canada has shown February 2027 for new online orders in one report. An undated live blog showed early December for every configuration.
| Report window | Estimate for new online orders |
|---|---|
| Within a day of preorders opening, October 16 to 19 | Mid November, first November 16 and then November 23 for every configuration |
| October 22 to 24 | Late January 2027 for new orders in the United States |
| Individual orders | Some moved to November 16 to 23, and one 512 GB order to November 20 to 30 |

Pickup and walk in
Pickup reservations returned in the United States and Canada on Saturday, October 24, for about five minutes, from 5:10 to 5:15 a.m. Pacific time. Most stores had no pickup slots that day. Retail staff reportedly expected little or no walk in stock on launch day, and reports say Apple has capped online orders at two phones per customer.
What to check
The estimate on your own Apple order is the only one that applies to you. Open the order in your Apple account and check the estimated arrival date there. A new order gets its own estimate, and a later estimate for another order does not change an existing one. Compare any date with your own timeline before you pay more than the list price.
