iPhone Duo Pickup Returns in Several Countries, but Slots Stay Scarce

Update, October 27: Delivery estimates for new online orders have not settled. Within days of preorders opening, the estimates moved from mid November to late January 2027, and some individual orders have since moved earlier, to November 16 to 23 or November 20 to 30. Pickup returned in the United States and Canada on October 24 for about five minutes, and most stores had no slots. Check the estimate on your own order.

Apple has started to reopen pickup reservations for the iPhone Duo in several countries, but the supply behind them is still very thin. In the United States and Canada, the reservation option came back for about five minutes early on Saturday, October 24, Pacific time. Most stores had no pickup slots available that day.

Where pickup has reportedly resumed

Reports say pickup has also resumed in Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore, Japan and China. The timing differs by country. A report from October 23 listed Australia, China, Japan and South Korea first, and the United Kingdom appears only in later reports.

Walk in sales are a separate question. An October 23 report said walk in purchases were not possible in several markets, including France, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, where customers need a pickup reservation. That report is a few days old, so the rule may have changed.

Apple's online store is the most reliable place to check. Choose the color and storage you want, go to checkout, and enter your ZIP code to see whether a pickup slot is available. Because stock changes quickly, check again close to the time you plan to visit.
