Redmi K100 Launches Today in China, and Its 10,000 mAh Battery Is Confirmed
The Redmi K100 launches in China today at 7 PM local time, as Redmi confirmed before the launch. Preorders have already started in China, and the launch also includes the Redmi Clip Neo earbuds. The standard K100 is a separate model from the Redmi K100 Pro Max and the Redmi K100 Pro, and both of those are already on sale.
What Xiaomi has confirmed
Xiaomi has confirmed a 10,000 mAh battery with 100 W wired charging. Coverage describes it as the first Xiaomi phone with a battery this size. Redmi's announcement also covers the display, software, design and audio. The K100 has a 165 Hz display, with native 165 fps gaming in more than 40 games. It runs HyperOS 4 on Android 17. The rear panel is flat, with a horizontal camera module that holds two rear cameras and an LED flash. The phone comes in Fluorescent Green, and the speakers carry Sound by Bose branding.
What is still unconfirmed
The chip, memory and camera details are still reported rather than confirmed. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is widely reported, and so are 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage. Redmi has not stated a megapixel count for either rear camera, although earlier reports described a 200 MP main camera. A tipster estimates a price of about 3,500 yuan, or roughly $490, but that figure is not a launch price.
