Samsung has confirmed that its Samsung Week 2026 promotion is running in 63 countries, from October 12 to November 1. The campaign is built around the theme "Discover New Ways to Live Smarter", and it is aimed at boosting sales ahead of the final quarter of the year.
Samsung also says its foldables are selling well in Europe. Sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra are reported to be up almost 50 percent, and one report puts the Fold 8 lineup at roughly double Samsung's foldable sales in Europe over about nine weeks.
What the promotion covers
The offers vary by market, but the common elements are trade in credit, Samsung Rewards points, discounts on selected devices, and Samsung Care+ protection. In the United States, discounts on the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Fold 8 have started. Trade in values are maximums, so the credit you receive depends on the condition and model of your old phone.
Because the promotion ends on November 1 in most markets, buyers who are weighing an upgrade have about a week and a half to decide. Our earlier article on the offers sets out what to check before you buy.
Why it matters
Strong foldable sales are a useful sign for Samsung at a time when the wider market is shrinking. The company has been using promotions and trade in offers to keep demand steady while memory costs push up prices across the industry. If you want a foldable, the current offers make this a good window to compare the discount with the trade in value on your current phone.
