Update, November 1: Xiaomi has confirmed in a social media post that the 18 Pro series will make its global debut later this month. The European prices in this article come from retailer listings, which remain unofficial. See our confirmation report.

Xiaomi has confirmed that its 18 Pro series will launch outside China, which has been expected since the Chinese launch in September. The company has not said which countries will get the phones, when the launch will happen, or what the prices will be. The only public commitment so far is a statement that the series will reach global markets "this year", which points to a deadline of the end of 2026.

The phones that will travel are the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. Both launched in China with the same top chip and large batteries, and both are expected to keep their core hardware for the global versions.

What the European price leaks say

Leaks suggest the European prices will be well above the Chinese ones. The figures circulating online put the 18 Pro at around 1,449 euros for the 256 GB version and 1,649 euros for 512 GB, with the 18 Pro Max tipped at about 1,849 euros for 512 GB. Those numbers have come from more than one leak, but none of them is official, and Xiaomi has not confirmed any European price yet.

For comparison, the Chinese prices are much lower. The 18 Pro starts at 5,999 yuan and the 18 Pro Max at 6,999 yuan, which is around a 20 percent increase over the equivalent 17 Pro models. A European price in the 1,400 euro range would be a much bigger jump, and it would put the 18 Pro Max close to the price of premium models from other brands.

Battery changes for the global versions

One of the more notable rumors is that the European models will carry smaller batteries than their Chinese counterparts. The leaks put the 18 Pro at 6,000 mAh, down from 7,000 mAh in China, and the 18 Pro Max at 7,050 mAh, down from 8,500 mAh. If that holds, buyers in Europe would be getting less battery for more money. Xiaomi has not confirmed the change, so it is worth waiting for the official specifications before deciding.

Timing is also unclear. Some reports point to a European launch as early as December 2026, while others suggest it could slip into next year. Xiaomi's own wording gives the end of the year as the outer limit, and a launch invitation is the most reliable signal to watch for.
