Redmi K100 Pro Max Review: What the Spec Sheet Shows

review

This is a review based on the spec sheet, not on hands on testing. We have not used the Redmi K100 Pro Max ourselves, so this piece looks at what the listed specifications show. The spec sheet has no lab results, so the verdict below relies on the figures alone. We will update this piece if we get a review unit.

The key specifications

The K100 Pro Max has a 6.9 inch AMOLED display with a 185 Hz refresh rate and a listed peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. The rear has a 200 MP main camera and a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom. It carries a 9,070 mAh battery with 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, and it was released on August 11, 2026.

Where it looks strong

The battery is the headline figure. At 9,070 mAh it is larger than the 8,580 mAh battery in the standard K100 Pro, and it charges at 100 W wired, the same as the Pro. The 185 Hz display and the 200 MP main camera are strong on paper. The 5x periscope telephoto gives the Pro Max a longer reach than the 2.5x telephoto on the Pro.

Where it asks for a compromise

At 238 g, it is the heavier of the two K100 Pro models. It has no memory card slot, so the storage you choose is the storage you keep. The spec sheet lists a peak brightness of 4,500 nits but includes no measured brightness results, so treat that figure as a listed maximum. Its price on the spec sheet is about 60 euros above the K100 Pro.

Verdict from the specifications

On paper, the K100 Pro Max is a large flagship with a long battery, fast wired charging, a 200 MP main camera and a 5x zoom. Its weight and price are the main costs, so it suits buyers who want the biggest battery and the longest zoom in this line. We will update this review after hands on testing.
